The residency project aims to analyze contemporary forms of community within artistic practices going beyond naïve idealizations. Thereby navigating questions like: What stories and narratives empower other communities? Which artistic practices support movements centered around care, environmental justice and human collaboration?
These findings of the students will be showcased in a temporary exhibition at the Volkskundemuseum Wien from June 3rd until June 9th, 2024.
