VANDA is an international on-site conference, taking place in the beautiful capital of Austria. It aims to bring together scholars from various fields of anthropology, social sciences and humanities.

There's much more to fieldwork than what we publish in scientific papers. Following the concept of poetry slams, VANDA provides a stage and a microphone for everyone who wants to share funny experiences and exciting stories from their anthropological work in the field. VANDAs finest storytellers will slam it out with our conference guests.
