Please note that due to the forthcoming general renovation the museum, library, café and shop are closed.

In October, the inner courtyard and the former air raid shelter in Schönbornpark will be open to the public as part of events: timetable here.

During the closure of the building in Laudongasse, the Volkskundemuseum Wien is moving its activities to the Otto Wagner Areal (OWA). Office space will be available in Pavilion 1 on Baumgartner Höhe from October 2024. From spring 2025, events are planned as part of a content-related program.
